DUGAS, Claudette (nee Surprenant) August 24, 1967. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 7, 2004. Beloved wife, best friend and soul mate of Tim Dugas. Cherished daughter of Priscilla Glenn and James Surprenant (Sue). Claudette will be greatly missed by her brother Jeffrey Surprenant, sisters Michelle (Gerard) Dumas, Renee (Robert Latouf), Dara Surprenant and Tiffiney (John) Latouf, step-sisters Annette (Jeffrey) Gagnon, Paulette (Douglas) Gaughn and step-brothers Andy (Terri) Savoie and Paul (Nicole) Savoie. Beloved daughter-in-law of George and Claudette Dugas and special step-daughter to Dolores (Dave) Pickford. Claudette will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She has touched so many lives and will be fondly remembered by a wide circle of friends and extended family. Heartfelt thanks to Hotel Dieu Staff, 3rd Floor East, with special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Sharon Doyle, Major Violet Chaulk and nurse Mike. Claudette was co-founder of the Hepatitis C Network of Windsor and Essex County. Visitation at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 68 Giles Blvd. E., on Thursday, December 9, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until time of service of remembrance at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, it is her wish that donations be made to the Hepatitis C Network. A tree will be planted in memory of Claudette Dugas in the Morris Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
