LYONS, Donald Thomas Edward - Peacefully at Bluewater Health - Norman St. Sarnia, on Thursday, May 21, 2009 Donald Thomas Edward Lyons age 68 of Sarnia. Beloved husband of the late Claudette Lyons (2007). Loving father of Robert Lyons and Mark Lyons both of Sarnia. Loved grandfather of Kathleen, Dawn, Sarah and Dannielle. Don was the eldest of 17 siblings and is survived by Jean Credger, Norm Lyons, Gilbert Lyons, Mike Lyons, Jean-Guy Lyons, Arthur Lyons, Louis Lyons and Lorraine Lyons. Predeceased by his daughter Lynn Haslip (2000), his parents Felix and Helen Lyons and several brothers and sisters. The funeral service for Don will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 1576 London Line, Sarnia at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Grace Coleman Anthony officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home on Monday May 25, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health - Palliative Care.
