BURRELL, Clarence - Passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Tuesday May 12, 2009. Clarence Arthur Burrell of Markdale in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie McDonald. Father to Patricia Driscoll (Michael) of Kitchener and William McDonald of RR 5 Flesherton. Grandpa of Gina Delong (Darren), great grandpa of Darlina Bell (Stuart) and Danielle Delong. Survived by sister Florence Hellyer of Markdale and nieces and nephews Ruth Ann Hellyer, Joan Beavis (Tony), Nelson Hellyer (Lynn), Clara Stubbings, Sterly Stubbings (Pat) and Lyle Stubbings (Pat). Sadly missed by his great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by parents Bert and Ella Burrell, sister Lois Stubbings and good friend Ruth Adair. The family received friends at the MAY FUNERAL HOME, Markdale, Thursday evening, where Rev. Dwight Strain officiated at the funeral service held Friday May 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Eddie Linton, Larry Matthews, Sterly Stubbings, Tony Beavis, Nelson Hellyer and Darren Delong served as pall bearers. Granddaughter Gina and great-granddaughters Darlina and Danielle carried floral tributes. Interment in Markdale Cemetery. Donations were directed to the Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. Following the service, friends and relatives joined the family at Cooke's Presbyterian Church Hall for refreshments and a time fellowship. 11517923
