BENEDICT, Edwin Bruce - Peacefully at his residence on Thursday, December 9, 2004. He was 59. Left to mourn are his loving wife Elizabeth (Phillips) Benedict, his children Edwin Jr., Vicki, Donald, Abram (Cassidi) and Kennedy, his siblings Dennis (Natalie) Cole, Wayne Cole, Harris (Donna) Cole, Jeffrey (Dale) Cole, Brian Cole, Maxine Cole, Steve Benedict and Sam Benedict, Margaret Laffin (Sydney), Florence, Annette, Rudy, Barbara, Elizabeth and Josie Seymour, Christi Beauvais; his mother Mae Benedict and his chosen siblings, Betty David (Howard), Helen Benedict, Charles Benedict (Pat), Robert Benedict, Esther Thompson (James) and Charlene Cole and by his chosen sister-in-law Shirley. Also survived by 8 grandchildren Kyle, Elliot, Chance, Tiana, Andrew, Drew, Trysten and Havana. Also survived by his former wife Betty David. Predeceased by his father Abraham Seymour, his chosen parents Elijah and Agnes Benedict and chosen brothers Winston and Morris Benedict. Resting at his residence 754 Island Road, Cornwall Island from 7pm on Friday. Funeral Services will be held at his residence on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at 2pm followed by cremation. Reverend Jim Barnes presiding. Memorial donations to Akwesasne Community Home Support Program appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of the M.
