Born in Melanson Mountain, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Augusta (Colwell) Eye. She is survived by daughters, Deborah, Wolfville; Diana Myers, Kentville; Brenda Shupe (Darrell), Eastern Passage; Karen, Victoria, B.C.; son, Barry Harold (Tammylee), Beaver Bank; grandchildren, Shawn, Matthew, Rachel-Ann, Meghan, Robin, Sarah, Scott; step-granddaughter, Ashley, Adam, Jeffery, Cory, Danny, Emily, Charles; great-grandson, Landon; sisters, Doris Kinsman, Bathurst, N.B.; Jean Ferguson, Halifax; brother, Gerald Eye, Fall River. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Winslow; granddaughter, Alleesha Marie Myers; brothers, Earl, Vernon; sisters, Helen Moore, Mary Whynot. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, in Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Reception to follow.
