SOBY, Donald Hugh April 9, 1931 - February 24/25, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Hugh Soby during the night of February 24/25, 2008. Donald is survived by his stepchildren, Barbara (JP) Laberge and their children, Christine, Bradley and Douglas Laberge, Granvelle (Jane) Pike and daughter Carla, Richard (Natalie) Pike and daughter Vera; brother John (Deborah) Soby and their children Sean Day, Craig and Laura Soby; sister Kaaren Soby (Larry Hewitt), children Steven Soby (Jacqueline and son Jorgen); Cheechum Soby-Hewitt (Craig and their daughter Yma). Donald was predeceased by his brother, Michael Soby who, in turn, is survived by former wife Marlene and their five sons Garth, Michael, Chris, Hal and Peter and their respective families. A Memorial Service will be held at SNODGRASS FUNERAL HOMES, 301 Macleod Trail, High River on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please bring your memories to share.
