McAllen, formerly of Dumbarton Station, Charlotte County, N.B., daughter of the late Sanford and Margaret (Orr) Newell. Survived by one daughter Barb Christie of St. Stephen, N.B.; two grandchildren Ross and Kathy Cleghorn and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. (506-466-1844) from where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday, December 13, 2004 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment at RollingDam United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
