Joan Marie Loveridge March 26, 1936 - December 11, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) LOVERIDGE, Joan Marie - 68, passed away peacefully December 11, 2004. She was a daughter of the late John and Kathleen Usher. She was actively involved in Special Olympics (bowling), served on the HRM Advisory Committee For Persons With Disabilities and many other organizations with mentally challenged children and adults. She is survived by daughters, Debbie (Ron) Wray, Susan Loveridge, at home; chosen daughter, Wanda (Ed) Sisk; son, Tony (Karen), Halifax; brothers, Donald and Sonny; sisters, Shirley and Pat; granddaughters, Angela, Nichole, Michelle and Hollie; great-grandson, Riley, and many special friends. She was predeceased by husband, Michael; sister, Carol and brother, Jack. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to D.A.S.C. Industries in Burnside, Dartmouth. Visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with funeral service on Tuesday, December 14 at 1 p.m., all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, Rev. Patricia Malin officiating.
