RIPPEY, Joan Beverly, Taken too soon from her family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, December 11, 2004, Joan Rippey (nee Bodman) of Jordan. Beloved wife of Bob for 52 years. Loving mother to 3 daughters and their families, Kathy and Frank of Orillia, Barbara and Todd of Seattle, Washington, Sandra and David of St. Catharines. Nana to Karly, Tucker, Tanner, Madison and Dillon. Predeceased by her brother Gus Bodman and sister Shirley Cairns. Survived by her sister Lorraine (J ohn) Downes of St. Catharines, sister-in-law Irene Bodman, brother-in-law Jim Cairns and by many loving nieces and nephews. Joan was a well known and will be greatly missed because of her lifelong involvement in the community and was a much loved mem ber of the Vineland United Church and United Church Women. She had retired from Adjusters Canada in 1995. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service w ill be held in the Vineland United Church on Wednesday, December 15th at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
