KNIGHT, Linda 1945-2009 - Peacefully, surrounded by her family at home in Owen Sound, on May 17, 2009, in her 64th year. Linda Jane Knight (nee McHutchion) beloved wife of Don. Proud and loving mother of Geoff and his wife Allison of London, Ont., Barb and her husband Richard Cooper of Milton and step daughter Kelly Howell of Peterborough. Loved grandmother of Meesha, Kiefer, Justin, Josh, Matt, Alicia and Kelsie. Linda is survived by her sister Mae and her husband Chuck Jones of Arizona, Peggy Coupland of Ottawa, Nancy and her husband Kurt Clyde of Winnipeg and by her brothers Larry and his wife Rose Pickard of California and Ken and his wife Marilyn Coupland of Winnipeg. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gord and his wife Mabel (nee Maus) McHutchion and Frank Pickard and Ruth (nee Gorrill) Coupland. Linda taught elementary school for 33 years in Kitchener, Milton and Meaford. She loved music and theatre and participated in numerous local choirs. She cherished opportunities to share moments with her dear friends. Friends may call at the BRECKENRIDGE-ASHCROFT FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday May 20, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the First United Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. Kristal McGee officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford.
