Shigeru Samuel KIDO

KIDO, Shigeru Samuel. 1909 - 2004. Peacefully in his sleep, on early Sunday morning, December 12, 2004 at the age of ninety five, Shigeru Samuel Kido went on to be with his Lord. Predeceased by his beloved wife Yaeko Marie (nee Ikegami) (2002). He was the loving father of Lillian (Leo Lee), John (Katherine Ishii), Jane (Hiro Hayami), Stan (Patricia Connolly), Joyce (Joseph Raspanti) and Kathy (Peter van Vlaardingen). Cherished grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law to Mitsuko Ikegami, Tsuneko Kadowaki and Betty Ikegami. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 16 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 rue Beaumont, Town of Mount Royal with wake service to begin at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, thence to Mount Royal cemetery for interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Center of Montreal (JCCCM), 8155 Rousselot, Montreal, H2E1Z7 would be appreciated.
