MARTELL, Armand “Blondie” – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, December 12, 2004. He was 89. Left to mourn are his children, Gerard J. Martel, Richard Martell (Vivian), Claudette Merizzi (Richard), John Martel (Carol), Jacques Martell (Mark), Francoise Watters (Warden) all of Cornwall, Raymond Martell (Brenda) of Massena, N.Y., and Daniel Martell (Penny) of Brockville, 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and his dear friend Era. Predeceased by his wife Rollande “Rollie” (nee Caron), his parents Domina and Roseanna (Giroux) Martell and by brothers Hector & Omer Martell and by sisters Frances Burgess and Gabrielle Dorie. Friends may call at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) on Wednesday from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00–9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass Thursday, December 16, 2004 in Nativity Co-Cathedral at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal, St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, Williamstown, in the spring.
