Alma M. DUNCAN

DUNCAN, Alma M. Passed away peacefully December 15, 2004, in Ottawa, at the age of 87 years. Dear friend of Audrey (Babs) McLaren. Alma was well known as an artist, designer, and film-maker. Among her designs were the Maple in Four Seasons stamps of 1971. Her films won awards in Britain, U.S.A. and Canada, and her works of art are in public galleries and private collections across Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe. She will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Monday, December 20, at 10 a.m. If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made to the Humane Society or the Alzheimer Society.
