Kenneth S. O'BRIEN

O'BRIEN, K.S. (Kenneth) S/Sgt. Ret 24809 Peacefully on December 15, 2004 with his family by his side, Kenneth Stephen O'Brien age 60, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband, father and grandfather. Ken is survived by his loving wife Marg, his children Scott (Dana), Wanda (Dean Pawulski), Rod, Kimber and stepdaughters Tammy (Simon Potten), Tracy (Craig Emmerson). Ken is also the proud grandfather of Zachary, Luke, Liam, and Mackenzie. Loving son of Marjorie and brother to Shannon (Lawrence Stephens), and Sherry (Brian Stevens). He is predeceased by his father Daniel Turner. Ken spent his career as an RCMP member between Ottawa and Saskatchewan and retired in 1998 as a Staff Sergeant. His passions in retirement and life were refereeing, golfing and hockey. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, (between Baseline Road and Bayshore Drive) Nepean, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service to be held at the RCMP Chapel, Regina.
