GILFILLAN, Veronica J. Surrounded by family, Veronica Gilfillan, M.B., Ch. B. (St Andrews '55), died peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2004. She lived a full, rich life and will be sadly missed by her husband Dr. Ronald Gilfillan, daughter Fiona Gilfillan (John Wemekamp), son Ronald Gilfillan and daughter Minnie German (Andrew), as well as a large family in Scotland, England and the United States. Veronica's compassion, intelligence, strength, beauty, wit and wisdom touched the hearts and lives of all who knew her. She led a medical practice while caring for a busy and active family. An "at home" celebration will be held in the near future and friends will be notified. The family would like to thank the staff in the Intensive Care Unit of the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, for their devoted and professional care.
