STANTON, Monica RCAF Nursing Sister 1942-46 Director of Patient Records, St. Mary's Hospital, Montreal, Que Peacefully, Thursday, December 16, 2004 at St. Patrick's Home, Ottawa, in her 92nd year. Monica Stanton, daughter of the late Ruth Burke and Edward Stanton, Quyon, Quebec. Loving sister of John Cletus Stanton of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Irma Blackwell of Brampton, Ont. Predeceased by her sister Muriel Kilroy and her brothers Walter (W.J.) Stanton and Edmund Stanton. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Patricia Stanton. Loving auntie Mee to her 17 nieces and nephews who cherish the memory of her generosity of spirit, sense of humour, love, and prayers for all of them and their families. She will be greatly missed. Deepest thanks and appreciation to the nursing staff, volunteers and the Pastoral and Palliative Care Program at St. Patrick's Home for their compassionate care. Friends may pay respect at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue (West of Carlingwood) Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. Patrick's Home for Mass of Christian Funeral at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment of Cremated Remains at St. Mary's Cemetery, Quyon, Quebec at a later date. In memoriam donations to St. Patrick's Home appreciated.
