Hilda W. Murray Hilda W. Murray of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday December 17, 2004. Born in East Earltown, NS, daughter of the late Howard and Anna (MacKay) Forbes, Hilda was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and was a retired school teacher in School District #2, Moncton. Hilda was a graduate of NS Teacher's College in Truro, NS and was a primary teacher for many years in NS as well as NB District #2 in Moncton. She was a Girls Birgade and Duke of Edinburg leader for many years and was a representative of The Canadian Constitution Committee held in Halifax and Vancouver, BC in 1992. Hilda will be sadly missed by her husband, Neil: daughter, Beth Thompson, Saint John: son, Howard, Moncton: grandchildren, Christopher and Catlin: one brother, Kay Forbes (Margaret), Pictou, NS and Florida: several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Emma and her brother Sandy. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (858-1995), Saturday 7-9. Funeral Service at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Sunday December 19, 2004, 3pm, Rev. Dr. Martin Kreplin officiating. Reception in the church hall following the service. Interment, Lockerby Cemetery, Tatamagouche, NS.
