Mrs. Jean Prust Campbell (née Johnson) October 29, 1918 - December 17, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Glenwood Funeral Home On December 17, 2004 Mrs. Jean Campbell of Sherwood Park passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by son, Kenneth William of Calgary, daughters; Lesley Jean (John) Ratcliff of Sherwood Park, and Heather Anne (Gavin) Hemphill of Dartmouth, NS., granddaughters; Corinne Margaret (Alan) Yakiwchuk and Janelle Heather (Harry) Blumenschein both of Sherwood Park, grandson Arlon John Thomas Ratcliff of Vancouver, BC., granddaughters; Tobi Leanne (Sam) Harris of McDonough, Georgia, Samantha Jean Hemphill of Dartmouth, NS., great-grandsons Joshua Thomas and Archer Harrison Blumenschein, Christopher Alan and Kevin Anthony Yakiwchuk all of Sherwood Park. A fifth great-grandchild, Baby Harris, is due in March 2005. Jean took great pleasure in her family and friends. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas William Francis in 1995. Jean was an active member of the Eastern Star and the I.O.D.E. She was also active in the United Church and Parent School Associations in Camrose, High Prairie and Stettler. Jean and Tom were instrumental in starting the Cerebral Palsy Association of Alberta and continued to be involved in the Parents' Group in Red Deer and Calgary. Jean will be greatly missed by all her friends and relatives. A very special thank you to everyone at the Sherwood Park Care Centre for the love and care they provided. A sincere thank you to the staff and doctors on 3F3 for their care and compassion. At Jean's request there will be no funeral service. Cremation will take place with Jean's final resting place at Beechmount Cemetery in Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Graduated Supports, 220 - 200 Scenic Bow Place, NW, Calgary, AB, T3L 1S5, Springboard Centre, Suite 14, 2115 - 27 Avenue, NE, Calgary AB, T2E 7E4 or to the charity of one's choice.
