SMITH, Ronald Stewart 1920-2004 On Friday 17th December peacefully at home, Husband of Marie-Paule, proud Father of Colette and Lynn, adored Grandfather of Jack, Ellie and Angus. Pre-deceased by his parents, Angus and Mary and his two brothers Robert and Allan. He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law Charles and John and fondly remembered by Janet and Susan, her children and by relatives and friends. Stu served proudly as an Officer with the Royal Canadian Engineers in WWII. Despite being badly wounded, he recovered and pursued a successful 25 year career with the Energy, Mines and Resources Department as a Civil Engineer. A memorial service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Tuesday December 21st at 11:30 AM.
