The death of Christina Marie Ross wife of George Ross of Strathadam, NB occurred at her late residence on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the age of 62. Born in St. Catherines, ON, Tina was the daughter of the late Benedict and Rosalie (Rogers) Keating. Besides her husband George, Tina is survived by two daughters; Michelle Ross (Avery) and Kandice Pyper (Brad) all of Red Dear, AB; two brothers: Michael (Darlene) of Whitney, NB and Patrick of Medicine Hat, AB; four grandchildren: Ashley, Alex, Jodi and Jesse; one great granddaughter: Ava and several nieces and nephews. At Tina's request there was no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial Service was held from The Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 @ 7 PM with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Various selections of taped music were played for the service. Remembrances of Tina were given by: daughters: Kandice and Michelle, brother: Patrick Keating, friends: Heather Somers and Katrina Baisley. Two poems were read by: Claire Fracker & Gloria Parnell and one by grandchildren: Ashley and Alex. In Tina's memory a donation may be made to the NB Extra Mural Program or the SPCA.
