Marion Catherine Losier (Steele) of Miramichi passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on June 21, 2009. Born in Ottawa, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Sheehan) and Robert Steele. Marion was the loving mother of Anthony and Eloise of Ottawa, Rosemary (Rick), Anne and Joan of Miramichi and Dr. Christopher Losier (Dr Suzanne) of Moncton. Marion is predeceased by her husband Dr. Barry Losier and daughters Lisbeth and Mary Jane. She is also survived by sisters, Doris Chouquette, Myrnah Steele, brother Robert Steele of Ottawa Marion is also predeceased by sister Edna Arnold of Gatineau, Quebec and brother Earl Steele of Ottawa. Mrs. Marion Losier was resting at her residence 171 Wellington St Miramichi, NB., on Wednesday June 24th from 7-9pm and on Thursday June 25th from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday June 26th at 2pm from St Michael's Basilica with Fr John Fraser officiating. Active Pallbearers were Dr. Arthur Losier, Dr. Gerard Losier, Michael Losier, Patrick Hogan, Richard Melanson and David Bell. Interment was in St Michael's Cemetery.
