Calvin TREVORS

Mr. Calvin Trevors husband of Mary Trevors of Craigville Road, Miramichi, occurred on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Craigville, NB, he was the son of the late Norman and Florence (Swain) Trevors. Calvin was a self-employed Electrician. Besides his wife: Mary, Calvin is survived by two daughters, Bonny Lee Williams of Douglasfield, NB; Sherry Power of South Nelson, NB; four sons, Ronnie and Fred both of Craigville, NB; Kenny of Newcastle, NB; Scott of Craigville, NB; four sisters, Marie Blakely (Clarence) of St. Catherines, ON; Normie McDonald (Rod) of Nelson, NB; Margie Stewart (George) of Craigville, NB; Rosemary Trevors of Nova Scotia; six brothers, Carl (Sharon) of Sunny Corner, NB; Reggie (Agnes) of Newcastle, NB; Joseph (Brenda) of Barnaby River, NB; Carmen (Ann) of Craigville, NB; Brian (Gail) and Gordie all of Douglasfield, NB; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Calvin is predeceased by infant daughter: Laura Ann; brothers, Char, Junie and Donnie. The family received visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service was held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Saturday at 11 AM with Father Douglas Barrett officiating. The organist and soloist was Jacqueline Allain; Solos were: "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art". Scripture reading by Carl Trevors (Brother) and Words of Remembrance by Kristy Murphy (Granddaughter); Active Pallbearers were Calvin's brothers: Carl, Reggie, Joseph, Carmen, Brian and Gordie. Burial took place in St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery. In Calvin's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
