Marvin Jay Egachie March 02, 1981 - December 18, 2004 Marvin Jay Egachie was born on March 2, 1981 and died on Saturday December 18, 2004. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Herman Atkinson in 1990 and his maternal grandmother Molly Atkinson in 1998; his brother Cameron Lee Atkinson in 2002 and paternal aunt Linda Nelson in 1979. Marvin is survived by his paternal grandparents Rose Nelson and Lawrence Egachie; parents Lorraine Atkinson and Kenneth Egachie Sr.; wife Nancy and their children Jarret, Brandon, Chasity, Jeff, Cameron Jr., Macy, and Danae Belle; as well as siblings Kenneth Jr., Kennard (Lorraine), Geraldine (Donny), Susan (Chris), and Arlene. Funeral services will be held at the Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation Community Hall on Friday December 24 beginning at High Noon. Traditional wake will also be held at the Community Hall beginning today (Thursday). Interment at Roseau Rapids. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Morris Funeral Home.
