Dorothy ACTON

Dorothy Grace Acton passed away May 22nd, 2009 at Victoria Glen Manor, Perth-Andover, N.B. She was born in Bath, NB. June 28th, 1947. She leaves to mourn her mother, Vivian Jenkins of Florenceville, NB; sisters Marilyn Palmer of Florenceville, NB, and Margaret McHugh (George) of Glassville, NB; three nieces, Nila Prosser (David), Michael, Brittany and Caitlin of Mount Delight, NB Twyla Learnard (Richard) of Caribou, Maine, Tracy Keizer (Jon), Hayden and Molly of Fredericton, NB; three aunts, Gaynelle Wortman of Jacksonville, NB, Nina Griffith of Burtts Corner, NB and Margie Bonner of West Palm Beach, Florida. Also survived by several cousins and the caring staff and volunteers of Victoria Glen Manor. Dorothy was predeceased by her father, Harold Acton, is 1985. Funeral service was held May 24th, 2009 from the chapel of L.R. Giberson Funeral Home in Florenceville, NB. Rev. Oral McAffee officiated, assisted by Pastor Murray Whitehouse. The Dee family of Limestone Siding, NB provided special music. A tribute was given by niece, Twyla Learnard. David Prosser, Michael Prosser, Tim McLean and Paul Bellefontaine served as pallbearers. Interment took place in Fielding Cemetery followed by a reception for family and friends at the Bristol Free Will Baptist Church.
