Eileen (Dignam) Comfort The death of Eileen (Dignam) Comfort, widow of George Comfort occurred in Marion, South Carolina, USA. Her remains were forwarded to Miramichi for burial on June 6th, 2009 at Saint Mary's Catholic cemetery, with Father Tom Fowler officiating. Eileen is survived by four sons, Richard (Sue) of Lynn, Mass, Daniel (Cathy), James (Kandi) and Michael all of Marion, SC; two sisters, Rita Spurr of Bridgetown, NS, Marie Lyons of Miramichi, NB; two brothers, Gerald Dignam of Miramichi, NB, George Dignam of Fredericton, NB, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
