Leo MCGRAW

Mr. Leo Joseph McGraw, husband of Lorraine (Richard) McGraw of 362 Bellefond Road, Bellefond NB, passed away Tuesday at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 61. Born in Bellefond he was the son of Rita (Benoit) McGraw and the late Majoric McGraw. He was a member of L'Ascension Roman Catholic Church. Besides his wife Lorraine, he is survived by one son; Terry McGraw (Sylvie) of Bellefond; five sisters; Annette Michaud (Gene) of Miramichi; Jeanette McGraw (Mike) of Miramichi; Laura Comeau (Rheal) of Richibucto; Edith Basque (Leonce) of Tracadie; Marianne McGraw of Bellefond; three brothers; Gerald McGraw (Suzanne) of Bellefond; Jean- Paul McGraw (Mona) of Beaverbrook; Ronald McGraw (Cindy) of Chaplin Island Road; two grandchildren; Kassandra and Kaitlyn. Besides his father he was predeceased by one brother Vincent McGraw. Mr. Leo Joseph McGraw rested at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, July 10th, 2009, at 11 am from L'Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook, with Father Stanislas Paulin officiating. Soloists and guitarist Lacy Howe accompanied by Tara-Lee Howe rendered "Amazing Grace", "In the Garden", "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Sheltered Safe in the Arms of God. Burial followed in the church cemetery. At the request of the family donations to L'Ascension Roman Catholic Church or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated. Active Pallbearers were: Claude McGraw, Kevin McGraw, Steve Michaud, Kenny McGraw, Matthew McGraw and Keith Comeau. Honorary Pallbearers were: Fernand Basque, Richard Richardson, Gerald Comeau, Antoine Comeau, Felicien Benoit and Francois Beaulieu.
