The passing of Nellie Good of the Victoria Glen Manor and formerly of Carlingford, NB occurred on June 1st, 2009 at the Victoria Glen Manor at the age of 96. Born in Summerfield on March 1st, 1913 to the late Hadden and May (Henderson) Lunn. Nellie is survived by her son Clarence Good of Carlingford; three granddaughters Terri (Larry) Tompkins of Davenport, Florida, Lisa (Peter) McAllister of Aylesford, NS and Nancy (Greg) Cray of Dubuque, Iowa; great grandchildren Callie and Megan McAllister, Mark Everett, Paige, Kaleigha and Caleb Cray; one sister Viola of Pembroke, ON and one very special friend Juanita Gee, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband John Good, infant grandson Michael Good. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding her 4 wheeler and of course on occasional yard sale! She had an uncanny wit and positive outlook. She leaves behind a legacy of smiles and humor, she will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Funeral service was held on Thursday, June 4th at 2 pm from Calvary Tabernacle with Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. The songs for the service were "Go Rest High On That Mountain, "I Can Only Imagine" sung by Sis Roma Ferrell, "Sissy" played by CD, "In The Sweet By And By" instrumental by Marjorie Howe and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" played on the violin by Garold Hanscom and Mitchell Goodine. The Rose was read by granddaughter Terri and memories were given by Claude Crawford. Pallbearers were Larry Tompkins, Peter McAllister, Calvin Lunn, Eric Till, Stephen Gee and Rick Christensen with interment in the Perth-Andover Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
