Arthur Green December 3, 1919 - June 8, 2009 The passing of Arthur Green of Weaver, NB occurred on June 8th, 2009 at the Grand Falls General Hospital at the age of 89. Born in Plaster Rock he was the son of the late Carroll and Beatrice Green. Arthur is survived by one son John (Jocelyn) Green of Plaster Rock; one daughter Donna (John) Vankats of Canterbury; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother Wendall Green of Weaver; one sister June Lappage of Lindsay. He is predeceased by his parents; wife Claire Green; infant son Phillippe; infant daughter Noella; son Beverly Green; two sisters Evelyn Tapley and Ida Melanson; three brothers Louis Green, Robert Green and Page Green. Arthur was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a sport guide, a provincial constable and a RCMP Auxillary Constable. Funeral service was held on Thursday, June 11th at 11 am from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Curtis Sappier as Celebrant. Pallbearers were Kirk Lappage, Randall Rioux, David Michaud, Robert, Ronald and Louis Jr. Green with interment in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
