Clarence "Jr." Campbell passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on June 2, 2009. Born in Arthurette on March 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Barry and Ellen (McCarty) Campbell. Jr. leaves behind his wife Jean Campbell (Jenkins); his daughters Kelly Crossman (Kevin) of Bairdsville, Kristina Craig (Tony) of Craig's Flat; his sons Kevin Campbell (Julie) of Arthurette, Kirk Campbell of Fredericton; his sister Twila MacKellar of Arthurette; his brother David Campbell (Sue) of Ottawa; seven grandsons and one granddaughter. Jr. was a truck driver for Fraser Lumber and a member of the Anderson Road Knights of Columbus. Funeral service was held on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 2 pm from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier celebrated. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Music for the service was by organist Kenneth Campbell and the Community Choir. The eulogy was given by Clarence's son, Kirk Campbell. The urn was carried by Clarence's grandson, Edward Crossman.
