Dorothy Clark Dorothy Clark of Perth-Andover passed away at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on June 3, 2009. Born in Caldwell Brook, NB, on January 14, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Edith (Thomas) Barr. Dorothy leaves behind her children Donald Clark (Bonnie) of Woodstock, Mary Sheppard (Wallace) of car Manville, NL, Katherine Gillespie of Perth-Andover; her brother Hubert Barr (Joyce) of Ottawa; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alex Clark; son-in-law Norman Gillespie; brother Denziloe Barr; sister Iona LaForest; and granddaughter Darlene Hargraves. Dorothy worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Keenagers, the Anglican Church Women's Group, the Sapphire Rebekah Lodge in Saint John, and was an organist in various church for over 50 years. Funeral service was held on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 10 am from Trinity Anglican Church in Perth-Andover. Rev. Bonnie LeBlanc officiated, assisted by Lay reader Cecil Pirie. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Music for the service was by organist Carol Andersen and the church choir. Dorothy's son, Donald, played the bagpipes at the service. The eulogy was given by Sharron Moffatt. Pallbearers were Clark Gillespie, Steven Hamblin, Kenneth Clark, Wallace Sheppard, John Clark, and Bernard Parent.
