Raymond GAMBLIN

Raymond Gamblin Raymond Gamblin of Perth-Andover, NB passed away at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on June 14, 2009. Born in Carlingford, NB on October 27, 1926, he was the son of the late Samuel and Laversa (Philbrook) Gamblin. Raymond leaves behind his wife of 60 years Madeleine (Theriault) Gamblin; his daughters Mary (Ed) Heacock of Edmonton, AB, Ann (Jon) Tait of Woodstock, Edith (Terry) Doucette of Burntland Brook; his sons Terry (Kris) Gamblin of New Maryland, John (Brenda) Gamblin of Jasper, AB, Douglas (Mary Ella) Gamblin of Victoria, BC; sisters Mary, Edith, and Phyllis; half-sisters Sonya and Laurie; half-brothers Sam, Winston and Maurice and several grandchildren, great grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11 am from Trinity Anglican Church. Rev. Bonnie LeBlanc officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Music for the service was by organist Carol Andersen and the church choir. Selected hymns were "This Is My Father's Word", "How Great Thou Art" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus". Pallbearers were Roland Demmings, Allison MacPhail, Clifford Kilcup, Edward Heacock, Terry Doucette and Jonathan Tait.
