LYNN, Bobby Allan 86 years, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2004, at Leam-ington District Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Hairsine) for 59 years. Dear father of Donna Maxwell and husband Scott, Wasago Beach; Laura Lee Maynard and husband Kurt, Kingston; John Lynn and wife Diane, Leamington. Loving grandfather of six grand-children, Christine and Brett Maxwell, Lindsay and Brandon Maynard, Kelly and Katie Lynn. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Lynn, Bill Hairsine and wife Mary. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Pre-deceased by his parents Allan and Beatrice Lynn and brother Harry (1990). Bob served in WW II with the 22nd Canadian Armoured Regiment (Canadian Grenadier Guards) proceeding to Britain in Sept. 1942. He served duty in England, landing in Normandy, July 27, 1944, and participating in 26 major actions in France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. On his return from overseas, Bob re-established his farm machinery business in Wheatley and was a well known International Harvester farm machinery dealer. Always interested in land, he later sold his dealership and became a full time realtor and land developer, until his retirement in 1982. He was a Life Member of Erie Shores Golf & Country Club, was among the founding members of Wheatley Talbot Trail Golf Club as well as a member of the Wheatley Legion. In retire-ment, he enjoyed tennis and was a past member of Wheatley and Leamington Lawn Bowling Clubs. He was a life long member of the United Church in Wheatley and later in Leam-ington. He was a past director of the South Essex Real Estate Board. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (326-2631), on Sunday 2-5 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Bob's life, from the funeral home, on Monday December 20, 2004, at 2 p.m. Rev.
