HAYES, Mary Elizabeth (nee Matchett) Member of Grace United Church and the Grace United Church UCW. Member of K.A.R.A. Volunteer at Anson House. Retired Teacher's Assistant. - Peacefully on Saturday December 18, 2004 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive, in her 80th year. Mary, beloved wife of Fred Hayes for 46 years. Loving mother of David and his wife Jennifer. Sister of the late John Matchett and his wife Yvonne. Dear Aunt of Murray, Francis and Andrew. Mary will also be missed by many other friends and neighbours. Friends will be received at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (356 Rubidge) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Grace United Church (581 Howden) on Tuesday December 21st at 11:00 am. Reverend Lyle Horn officiating.
