Alfred Maillet CHATHAM, ONTARIO - Alfred Maillet, age 83, Chatham, Ontario passed away December 19, 2004 after a short illness. Born in Rosaireville, NB in 1921, son of Maxime Maillet and Gertrude Babineau. He worked as a motor mechanic and served in the Royal Canadian Army. He is survived by his wife Irene (Kelly) Maillet; daughter, Fran Brooks; 5 sons, Lawrence (Bette), Gerald (Sandy), Roy (Angie), Robert and Richard. He is leaving 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A sister Claire (Sylvain) Caissie; a brother, Flavien (Yvonne). Several nephews and nieces; brothers and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by a son, John Maillet; brothers, Adelard, Joseph, Ludovic, Pierre, Emile, Patrick, Fidèle, José; sisters, Laurence, Régina, Elise and Marguerite; step brothers, Médor, François, Arthur and Gérard Henri. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 11am at the Blessed Sacrament Church, burial in the St-Anthony's Cemetery. Funeral under the care of Peseski Funeral Home in Chatham, Ontario. Donations to the Cancer Society are welcome.
