NELSON, Gordon (Kahrhi=io). 1919 - 2004. Passed away in Kanesatake, surrounded by his family on December 20, 2004 at the age of eighty-five. Loving husband of Mary Etienne. Cherished father to Dinah (Leonard), Billy (Louise) and Gina (Peter). He will be sadly missed by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He leaves to mourn his sister Florence, his brothers Frank (Gloria), Davidson (June), Joe (Hattie), and Angus. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Salon Funeraire Guay Inc., 156 Notre Dame, Oka. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 23 at 2 p.m. at Oka Pentecostal Church. Thence to Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, December 22 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 and Thursday, December 23 as of 12 noon. The family would like to thank everyone who helped during his time of need, especially Dr. Perry and the nurses from the C.L.S.C. in St. Eustache. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 12/22/2004.
