GRIVICH, Franka Frances - Peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the age of 88. Frances passed away. Her daughter Marija Uremovich of St. Catharines and son Stjepan Basich and his wife Ankica of Perusic, Croatia will forever miss their dear mother. Sister Helen Sepac of St. Catharines will always remember her loving sister. Her grandchildren Mike Uremovich and his wife Kathleen of Dallas Texas and their children, Michael, Elizabeth, and Melanie Uremovich will always have fond memories of Grandma. Her grandchildren Josip and his wife Mandy Basich and their children Stjepan and Christopher and Anna Marija and her husband Marco with their children Anna-Katarina, Thea, and Nika all of Zagreb, Croatia will miss grandma with all their hearts. Frances will always be remembered by all of her relatives and friends in Croatia, Canada, and USA. Rest in peace dear Frances. Pocivala u miru Bozjem i neka Ti je laka hrvastka zemlja. Family invites friends for visitation at the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara St. on Tuesday, August 18th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St. on Wednesday, August 19 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow the service and her ashes will be taken to Croatia as per Frances' wishes. All family and friends are invited to a reception at St. Alfred's Church following the funeral service.
