LEPKAN, John “Wayne“ - After a courageous battle with Lung Cancer and Lung Disease, surrounded by his family and friends; Wayne passed away peacefully on Sunday August 16th, 2009. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Elizabeth (nee Caldwell). Cherished father of Sean Wayne (Kim), Michael Andrew (Sasha Prasad), Stephen Frederick (Meghan Desilets) and Kelli-Rose Aultman (Scott). Dear Papa to Jordan, Erik and Sarah Lepkan, and Abigayle and Isabelle Aultman. Predeceased by his parents Frederick Lepkan and Jean Clark. He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Hazel Whalley (Lawrence Bester) Powassan and his sisters Rhonda Lepkan (Andrea Binnington), Milton; Robynne Jamieson (Don), Burlington; and sisters-in-law Trudy Thurlow (John), Burlington; Melody Caldwell (Leona Morin), Hamilton; Charlene Hall (Don), Sundridge; Gloria Kidston (John), Oakville; and brothers-in-law Woody Caldwell (Meredith Buckley), North Bay; Terry Caldwell (Tammy), Orleans; and Brian Caldwell, Montreal. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Wayne will also be sadly missed by friends Maurice and Eunice Laporte and Peter and Jocelyne Corbeil and his many friends at Clear Springs Golf Course. Friends may call at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday August 19th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday August 20th at St Andrews United Church at 11am.
