HERSEY, DOUGLAS F. B.Sc., CD - (Graduate of Royal Military College, Kingston 1957; Retired Administrator for Metropolitan Toronto Homes for the Aged). Peacefully at his home, Bolton, Ontario, on Tuesday, December 21, 2004, Douglas Hersey, in his 71st year, loving husband of Frances Slocum. Dear brother of Col. Robert Charles Hersey (Ret'd), Brockville, Ontario. Dear brother-in-law of Lorraine Bertschi, Ottawa. Beloved uncle of David and his wife Debbie Bertschi, Suzanne Bertschi-Mackay and her husband Dave Mackay, David and his wife Maggie Hersey, Laura MacDonald, Jennifer and her husband Bob Gray. Dear great uncle of Eve Frances Mackay, Douglas and Shannon Hersey, Riley and Patricia Gray. Remembered by niece Cindra Bilick. The family received their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Tuesday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o'clock. Funeral service was held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 29 at 2 o'clock. Spring interment Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John, New Brunswick.
