POLLOCK , Glen Ivan "We will miss you dearly" It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of our dear Dad, Glen, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his wife, Louvaine, in 2007. Loving father of Keith Pollock (Renate), Lorne Pollock (Gwen), Neal Pollock (Leslie), and Michaelle-Anne (Mickey) Beaulne (Richard). Cherished Grandpa and Papa of Scott Pollock (Fiona Butterworth), Jason and Jeffrey Pollock, Sara, Brett and Lauren Beaulne. Great-Papa of Addyson Pollock. Dear brother of Ruth Graff of Calgary, brother-in- law of Alexander (Kiki) Petovello (Elia) and Delva Thiele (Arnie) of Calgary. Glen was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and raised in the Sturgis, Saskatchewan area. He served in the RCAF from August 1943 to January 1947. He then worked for Canadian Pacific until his retirement in 1987. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow in the Garden of Everlasting Life, Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Calgary, Alberta on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. In memory of Glen, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (No. 200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6) or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
