SZALAJKO, Michael - His death occurred on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Kirkland & District Hospital at the age of 51 years, after a lengthy illness of Multiple Sclerosis. Survived by his loving wife Brenda, his mother Jean Szalajko, sisters Carole (Lutia) Durante and Joanne Szalajko. Dear uncle to Alexandra Durante, Andrea Durante, Edward Durante, Levi McNaughton, Rebekah McNaughton. Forever remembered by his father-in-law Allan McNaughton, brother-in-law Brian McNaughton and also Gwen Wight and her extended family, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will welcome friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3L1) on Monday, August 17, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 TO 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from Paroisse Assomption with Fr.
