AMBROSE, Emily. Passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, aged eighty-three. Beloved wife of the late Steve Ambrose. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, son Edward, daughter-in-law June, and grandsons Stephen, Michael and Christopher. She also leaves to mourn her brother William, sisters Annie, Helen, and the late Mary. Emily will also be remembered for her kindness and dedication to her customers for sixty years at Ambrose Cleaners in Verdun. A funeral service was held on December 29, 2004 at J. F. Wilson.
