John Mankir May 26, 1928 - December 25, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on December 25, 2004 at the age of 76 years. John was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Nick; step-father, Alec Boyko; and his brother, Bill. He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Cathy (Bill); son-in-law, Ken; grandchildren, Jennifer, Christa and Marshall; sister, Ann (Aimie); sister-in-law, Lorna; brother-in-law, Michael (Ethel); and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be offered at the Holy Eucharist Parish Church, (Watt at Monroe) on Wednesday, December 29th at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Eucharist Parish Church. Father Darren Kawiuk Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald Street, Wpg, Mb. R2M 2W7.
