Dorothy Jean KEATING

Dorothy Jean Bidwell Born July 19th, 1922 Tickhill, Yorkshire, England Predeceased by her husband Reginald and her sister Brenda. Survived by her son Philip (Wally), daughter-in-law Sally (Sinasac), sisters Vivian Corley of Toronto, Audrey Hodge of Christchurch, New Zealand, and her brother Raymond Keating of Fort Erie, Ontario. Her sister-in-laws Ruth Williams, Norma Doherty and Jean Purdy, all of Gravenhurst, Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Emily. Jean was born in Tickhill, England. She served in the R. C. A. F. during WWII where she met her husband Reginald John Bidwell. After her marriage she moved to Gravenhurst, Ontario where her son Philip was born. Her husband being a banker, she moved frequently and has lived in Guelph, Sudbury, Wallaceburg and South Porcupine. After her husband passed away she moved in with her son where she remained until her passing. She will be sadly missed by her son, her daughter-in-law and her grandchildren. Remembrances made to the Canadian Red Cross Society through the funeral home will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Friends may call on Wednesday December 29th, 2004 from 1:00PM till funeral time at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in the spring beside her husband in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
