Grette ROY

GRETTE Roy Passed away at St-Mary's Hospital on July 31, 2009 at the age of seventy nine after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Roy was the beloved son of the late Thor Grette and Lucy Grandlouis. He was also predeceased by his wife Ruth Turner and his son Thor Grette, his brother Rudy Grette and his sister Rita Grette. Roy will be sadly missed by his children, Dale, Glen (Penny), Glory (Robert), and Dean, and by his sister Rosalee Grette, and by his grandchildren, Benjamin, Oliver, Dahlia, Billy, Danny, Liam, Anthony, Kimberly, Kathleen and Krystal, and extended family and friends. Roy was a doorman at 400 Lansdowne and thoroughly enjoyed his job and the many tenants that he met over the years that he worked there. The family would like to thank Dr. Matouk, Dr. Farley, Nurse Dail Jacob and Nurse Sue Roy for their care and compassion. A private family memorial will be held at a later date, and Roy will be laid to rest in Mattawa, Ontario.
