STEWART, John 63 Years. It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our dearest and beloved John Stewart on December 25, 2004. Beloved father of Cassandra and husband Gord Tanevski and Andrea and husband Brad Brown. Former husband to Mae Stewart. Beloved and sadly missed grandfather to Payton, Reece, Evan, Adison and Kyuss. Loving son of Rose Stewart and the late Jack (1983). Brother to Bob, Lois, Jerry and Jimmy. John retired from Sears in 2003 after 31 years of dedicated service and also enjoyed a successful career along side Paul Anka as his Road Manager. As well as being an avid outdoorsman, John was proud to be a member of the NRA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2004 (time to be confirmed) at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) . Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In kindness memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor or to Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of John Stewart in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome. Published in the Windsor Star on 12/28/2004.
