Gordon Mervyn Leonard Leonard - It is with sadness that the family of Gordon Leonard announces his sudden passing 5 days after his 63 birthday. Gordon passed away in Sudbury on Sunday, December 26, 2004. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Lola (nee Grant) Leonard; brother Harvey and sister Paulette. Gordon is survived by his life long partner Karen; siblings Robert, Raymond, Wayne and Carol, Diana and Bill, Barry and Carol, Linda and Pat, Judy and Rick and Kathy and Brian and many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing along to some favourite songs as well as time spent with fishing rod in hand. Gordon was a 38 year employee of the Kirkland Lake Canadian Tire Store. He will be missed by many close family and friends. The family wishes to thank the nurses of the Kirkland & District Hospital I.C.U. and the Sudbury Memorial Hospital for their excellent care. A special thank you to Kim and Jim and Karen and Bill for coming so far and for giving comfort to Gordon on his final days. We appreciate that you were constantly with him. No funeral service will be held at this time. Gordon will be laid to rest in the family plot of the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
