MUNROE, John Kitchener “J.K.” Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Maxville Manor on Monday, December 27, 2004 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy Monroe (nee Barton) for 60 years. Dear father of Donald (friend Kay), Elizabeth (Campbell MacGillivary), Dean (Ruth), Heather (Robert Arthurs), Alan (Emelia), and John (Tammy). He will be sadly missed by fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Nelson, Campbell, and Claude. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. At J.K’s request there will be no Visitation or Service. Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home Ltd., 20 Main St. Maxville (527-2898). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to John, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
