BIASATTI, Elvira Josephine (nee DeRose) - Peacefully at home on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Archie (2000). Dear sister of Rocky (Ruth) DeRose, Ida (Mario) Francavilla, Sirte, Joanne, Peter DeRose. Sister-in-law of Aldo (Gloria) Biasatti. Aunt of Paul, David (Dorothy) & children, Sandra DeRose, Michael Francavilla, Joseph Biasatti, Joanne (Alan) Osborne & children. Elvira was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Thorold. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:00pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church on Wednesday, September 16th at 11:00am. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
