BÉLAND, Jean-Claude - In his 72nd year. Born September 6, 1937 in St. Bruno de Guigue, Quebec. John, as we referred to him, went home to be with Our Lord Jesus on Monday, September 7, 2009. He resided in his retirement home in Edmonton. We will miss him but we will be reunited with him someday. He was a loving husband to Arlene who went on before him in 2007. Lovingly remembered by his two granddaughters, Krista and Amber. Both his parents, Theodore and Rose Béland; sisters Jackie Roy and Rita Poulin welcomed him home to a better place. John is survived by four sisters, two brothers, Gisèle Béland, Toronto, Yvette Dupuis, Frances Lamothe (Bert), Henry Paul Béland, Michel Béland (Irene), all of North Bay, and Collette Reardon (Don) of Mattawa, as well as many nieces and nephews. The memorial Service was held in Edmonton on Sept.11 ,2009. John, we'll all see you when we come home to meet you. We all love you very much!
