HICKEY, Florence (nee Hutchinson, Grant) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2009, in her 86th year, at North Bay General Hospital, North Bay, Ontario. Loving mother of Warren Grant of Ottawa, Peggy (Alan) Morrison of North Bay, and stepmother of Anne (Andy) Normand, Ottawa. Predeceased by first husband Claude Grant, daughter Shirley, second husband C.C. (Bill) Hickey, stepsons Norman Hickey, Charles (Chuck) Hickey, her parents Colin and Sarah Hutchinson and her brothers Roy, George and Bryon Hutchinson. Remembered by grandchildren Heather (Trevor) Pardy, Toronto; Chris Hickey, Toronto; Marc (Jennifer) Normand, Ottawa; Tamara (Noel) McCormick, Kingston; Todd Grant, Kingston; Shauna (Kevin) Ouellette, North Bay, ON; Nick (Sarah) Allen, Cambridge, ON; Leslie (Edwin Turton) Morrison, Maastritch, Holland; 11 great-grandchildren, all in Ontario, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Moase Funeral Home, 150 Summer St. Summerside, P.E.I. Funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, corner of Church and Summer Streets, Summerside on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. with burial following at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
